How does China feed its people? This program explores that question through lectures and field trips at universities in Beijing, Yangling and Shanghai, China. Experts will introduce students to current Chinese agricultural practices and policies at both the local and national levels, including visits with international food companies. Field trips to farms, government agencies, industry and historic sites will give the students first-hand experience of Chinese history, culture and politics, and a chance to interact with a wide range of Chinese people.

This new program offers cultural and academic experiences beyond learning in the traditional classroom.
