Faculty-Led Programs

Participate in a high quality, short-term program led by some of our most outstanding faculty! These programs provide 3 to 6 credit hours and will help you gain knowledge and learn about a new culture.

Internship Programs

Each year, an increasing number of students participate in international internships. Unlike other study abroad programs, internships are directed on an individual basis with guidance from each student’s academic mentor or department.

Virtual Faculty-Led Summer Opportunity
Service Learning in Belize

This virtual study abroad program provides U of A students the opportunity to partner with the community in Dangringa, Belize, and to support service projects such as a middle school garden development project that includes a poultry facility, or historical preservation efforts conducted through village elder interviews, as well as to participate in cultural activities such as a Belizean drum circle and cooking lessons.
