Each year, an increasing number of students participate in international research projects. Unlike other study abroad programs, these opportunities are directed on an individual basis with guidance from each student’s academic mentor or department.
The expectations are high, but the reward is a deep understanding of the challenges of working in a developing country, an amazing cultural immersion and the experience of leadership and accomplishment.
